Terms and Conditions

By registering for or using KoboTutor, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. These terms apply to all users — students, parents, teachers, school administrators and platform administrators.

KoboTutor is an AI-powered exam preparation platform for JAMB, WAEC and NECO. It provides a diagnostic assessment, an AI tutor, adaptive practice, mistake analysis, timed CBT mock exams, a personalised study plan and score prediction. The service is owned and operated by Nokvision Limited, a Nigerian technology company registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC Reg: RC 1254400), based in Lagos, Nigeria.

You may use KoboTutor if you are preparing for a Nigerian secondary school examination or supporting a student who is. If you are under 18, you should register with the permission of a parent, guardian or school. Schools and teachers must have authority to enrol the students they add to a class.

You are responsible for: • Keeping your login details confidential. • All activity that occurs under your account. • Sharing your parent link code or class join code only with people you want to see your progress. • Telling us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

KoboTutor Free gives you the full diagnostic assessment, limited AI tutoring and practice, and one mock exam. KoboTutor Pro is ₦2,500 per month or ₦20,000 per year and unlocks unlimited AI tutoring, the full question bank, unlimited mocks and full analytics. Schools pay ₦3,500 per student per year with a minimum of 10 seats. Payments are processed by Paystack using card, bank transfer or USSD. Pro access begins when Paystack confirms your payment and runs to the end of the period you paid for. You may cancel at any time and keep access until that period ends. We do not provide refunds for unused portions of a period, except where required by law.

You agree not to: • Share one account with multiple students, or resell access. • Copy, scrape, republish or redistribute questions, explanations or other content from the platform. • Use the AI tutor to cheat in a live examination or to produce work you present as your own. • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' data or to our systems. • Upload harmful, offensive or unlawful content.

KoboTutor prepares you for JAMB, WAEC and NECO but is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by JAMB, WAEC, NECO or any examination body. Predicted scores are estimates generated from your practice performance — they are not a guarantee of your actual result. AI explanations can occasionally be incomplete or mistaken; check anything critical against your syllabus or teacher.

The platform, its software, question bank, explanations and branding are the property of Nokvision Limited or its licensors and are protected by copyright. You receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own exam preparation only.

Your use of KoboTutor is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms and explains what data we process and who can see your progress.

KoboTutor is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any particular examination score will be achieved.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nokvision Limited shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of KoboTutor, including examination outcomes. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months.

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these Terms, including content scraping or account sharing. You may delete your account at any time; your data will then be handled as set out in the Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria. This does not remove any consumer protection you have under the mandatory law of your country of residence.

We may update these Terms as the product develops. We will notify you of significant changes by email or in the app. Continuing to use KoboTutor after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
